The default of 0.01 mm works well for most imported SVG and DXF files. If you're not finding enough points to merge, try increasing it. If too many unrelated points are being grouped together, decrease it. The live preview shows you exactly what will happen before you commit.
Merge only curve endpoints (default, recommended): Only considers the start and end points of sketch curves (lines, arcs, splines). This is the safest option and handles the most common case — gaps between curves that should be connected.
All points: Considers every sketch point, including construction points and midpoints. Use this if you have standalone points that need merging, but be aware it may merge points you didn't intend.
This can happen if the merged points were already constrained in conflicting ways. Try undoing (Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z) and merging with a smaller tolerance, or manually resolve the conflicting constraints.
You must be actively editing a sketch for the add-in to work. Double-click a sketch in the timeline or browser to enter sketch edit mode, then run the command.
Yes. The merge operation is a single undo step in Fusion. Press Ctrl+Z (Windows) or Cmd+Z (macOS) to undo.
Undo the operation and try again with a smaller tolerance. The live preview shows exactly how many groups and points will be affected — review it before clicking OK.
The button is in the SKETCH tab, under the Sketch Utils panel. You must be editing a sketch for the Sketch tab to be visible. If you don't see it, check that the add-in is enabled under Tools → Add-Ins.
Yes. The add-in supports both Windows 10/11 and macOS 12 (Monterey) or later.
